The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart

Nine-year-old Alice Hart lives with her parents on the outskirts of a small town called Wyuna. Tragedy strikes when a fire consumes the house, leaving Alice as the only survivor. Her grandmother, June Hart, whom she had never seen before, arrives.

14 years have passed and now 24-year-old Alice finds a letter addressed to her in Thornfield that uncovers some secrets from the past.

Twig sets off to meet Alice's brother, Charlie; Alice lies about her university qualifications to get a job at the National Park; in Thornfield, the only person left to support June is Candy.

Dylan continues to convince Alice that he's the only one she really needs; Twig comes to Agnes Bluff and begins his search for Alice; Alice deflects Twig's attempts to reach out to her as Dylan's behaviour grows more demanding and paranoid.
