The School that tried to End Racism Australia

A class of students will meet Walkley Award Winning Journalist, Marc Fennell who will lead the students through a bold new school programme designed to reduce racism. Guided by their specially trained teachers and overseen by race expert, Professor Fiona White.

They start the week in a a giant hedge maze, hidden inside are four treasure chests. For those who find it they will receive a huge prize that will be the envy of the entire class. But when the winners are asked if they are prepared to share their special privilege for their classmates, well find out how hard inclusiveness can be.

It's the final week of a bold new school programme designed to reduce racism. The students will learn the importance of celebrating difference and we'll find out if this bold new experiment is a success or a failure.
