Elizabeth journeys to the Middle East, to secure a deal to bring American soldiers home. Meanwhile, Henry gives Elizabeth's brother some relationship advice.

Elizabeth realises that Afghan government may want to compromise with the Taliban. Henry tries to convince a Russian spy to help the U.S. Daisy returns from maternity leave and decides to tell Joe's mother about the baby.

Elizabeth must watch what she says and does when she deals with a refugee situation while being shadowed by a reporter.
