Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street

Life is anything but normal for Gortimer and his two best friends, Ranger and Mel, as they navigate Normal Street - an ordinary suburb that has a hint of something magical just beneath the surface.

While trying to help the unluckiest kid on Normal Street, Gortimer accidentally jinxes himself with bad luck. Gortimer, Mel and Ranger must find a way to fix things before a wave of misfortune threatens Normal Street's annual Road Rocket Race.

Mel, Gortimer and Ranger all enter the class science fair, but Mel's main competition, Catherine Dillman, has her own great entry. Mel feels the pressure to win and builds a robot that develops a `win at any cost' personality.

When Gortimer learns a piece of information he would rather forget, he seeks help from an incredibly chipper but incredibly memory-impaired resident of Normal Street.

The gang races to restore Gortimer's voice, stolen by a mysterious figure driving a ghostly bookmobile that appears on Normal Street for only one day each year.

Shortly after the students elect Mel the president of the student council, she is dethroned after the unlikely Ranger proves himself to be the stuff of legend and becomes `The Once and Future Student Council President'.
