All the Same… or Not

Carol's life is turned upside down when her mother tells her she is marrying her boyfriend, who also has a teenage son. Roberta sleeps in her brother's record shop after a fight with her parents, but doesn't tell her best friend.

Carol treats the new residents of her house as intruders and Tomás makes it clear that he doesn't want to live in Rio de Janeiro. The family breakfast and the first day of school are a total disaster. Meanwhile, Carol takes an interest in Bernardo.

Beta lies to her friends and goes out with Tomás. Carol, Trix and Amanda take part in a clean-up action on the beach and get close to Pri, a new girl at school. Carol and Bernardo get to know each other better.

During an event on the effects of global warming, Carol and Beta try to rebuild their friendship. Bruno decides to put some distance between himself and his girlfriend Trix, because she doesn't spend much time with him. Amanda has three suitors.

Carol has her first date with Bernardo and begins to fall in love with him, despite her best intentions. Tomás is not happy with Beta's attitude and tries to get closer to her.

Beta has no idea how to tell Carol about her relationship with Tomas.
