Vítor takes his mother to the bus station because he is going back to his town; Albertano and Vítor meet when they go to see a room for rent and they fight over it, but Rosita, one of the tenants, advises them to share the room.

Vitor and Albertano manage to get a job as drivers in a minibus base, but their irresponsibility is going to cost them dearly, and they end up in jail.

Vitor and Albertano come up with the idea of being clowns at children's parties.

When a neighbor receives a serenade, Albertano and Vitor realize how much money a mariachi makes; they decide that, with ranchera music, they will finally be able to pay off their debts, but their mariachi gets them into serious trouble.

Thanks to a stroke of luck, Albertano knocks out the toughest guy in the colony; Vitor sees the opportunity to make him the new promise of national boxing and earn a lot of money.

When the 15th birthday of one of Doña Cuca's goddaughters approaches, Vitor and Albertano see the opportunity to hire themselves out as chamberlains.
