From the Queen To the Chief Executive
In 1985, Ming was taken to Braemar Hill by big Brother and got involved to kill two expatriate teenagers. As under the age of eighteen, Ming was sentenced to "Detention During Her Majesty's Pleasure" (HMP). Thus, Ming became one of 23 juvenile offenders who was sentenced under the term. Ming has been in jail for 12 years and still awaiting the discretion of the Authorities. He never knows when he will be released into society and got free. Ling is a literature lover loses to Ming in a creative writing competition. When Ling discovered that her teenage life was similar to Ming's, she was deeply driven into a guilty realization, and tried to atone her past by helping the HMPs. She used her best efforts to get Leung's involvement in the issue. Having the supportingof Leung, those HMP's families group themselvestogether and fightfor the definite terms of imprisonment. Leung attempts to win the public supports and brings the case to Legislative Council and wait for the "Detention During Chief Executive Tung's Pleasure".
