In the Line of Duty 3

An armed couple (Stuart Ong and Michiko Nishiwaki) breaks in the venue of the world renowned jewelry designer Yamamoto's (Yueh Hua) exhibition in Tokyo and take away the most valuable pieces on display. The robbery ends in bloodshed. Inspector Okata's (Fujioka Hiroshi) assistant is shot to death at the crime scene.The couple takes the jewelry to Hong Kong and Okata follows their trail. Madam Yeung (Cynthia Khan) of the Hong Kong Police is assigned to help him. However, Yeung's superior and uncle (Paul Chun) intervenes the investigation. Okata is tired of such power struggle and decides to act on his own accord.Yeung neglects her superior's order and continues her investigation. She finds that actually it is Yamamto who pulls ther strings behind the scene to swindle compensation out of his insurance company. On the other hand, Okata kidnapps Yamamoto and severely tortures him. All he wants is information of the armed couple. Yeung has to stop Okata as well.When she finally arrives at Yomamoto's place, she finds that he is brutally murdered by the armed couple. Yeung tracks down the man and a deadly fight takes place. She wounds the man but fails to pin down the woman. The woman seeks help from her accomplices for a vengence.Now Madam Yeung and Okata finally come to reconciliation and vow to crush the gang. This is the beginning of a duel between the good and the bad.
