Ariel Levy

Actor Ariel Levy was born in Santiago, Chile. His first film role came in 2004, when he played Roberto Rodriguez, a comic-book nerd determined to win the heart of a hot girl, in the Chilean romantic-comedy "Promedio Rojo." The following year he played Matias Jarpa in Spanish-language TV series "Es Cool" (2005), and Gustavo Canales in the television series "Mitu"(2005). That same year he played the role of David in the Alberto Fuguet-directed movie "Se Arrienda." Throughout 2006, 2007 and 2008 Levy made several TV appearances, including roles on "Porky te amo" (2006), "Justicia para todos" (TVN, 2006-08), "Vivir con 10" (Chilevision, 2007) and "Mala Conducta"(2008). In 2009 Levy played Benjamin in the short film "La vaca atada." The following year he played Julian in the horror feature "Myths and Legends: The New Alliance." In 2011 Levy was cast as Cristobal Espejo in the television series "Infiltradas"(2011). He appeared in 47 episodes of the series in 2011 alone. Beginning in 2012, Levy began appearing in "La Sexologa"(2012-13), a television series about a radio sexologist who falls in love with one of his patients, a sex addict. He was featured in 84 episodes. The next year, Levy went on to star in "The Green Inferno" (2013), a horror film by director Eli Roth about a group of activists who encounter evil forces on a trip to the Amazon rainforest.
