Dick Hyman

Dick Hyman boasts musical talents that have been featured in a variety of Hollywood productions. Hyman worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "French Quarter" (1978), "Scott Joplin" (1977) and "Stardust Memories" (1980). He also contributed to "The Chosen" (1981), "The Great Rocky Mountain Jazz Party" (1977) starring Clark Terry and "Zelig" (1983) starring Woody Allen. In the eighties, Hyman's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Broadway Danny Rose" (1984) with Woody Allen and the Cher drama "Mask" (1985). Hyman won an Outstanding Achievement In Music Direction Primetime Emmy Award for "Eubie Blake: A Century of Music" in 1983. Hyman was nominated for a Score For a Film BAFTA Award for "Moonstruck" in 1988. Hyman's music was also featured in "The Lemon Sisters" (1990), "Billy Bathgate" (1991) and "Alan and Naomi" (1992). Hyman's music was most recently featured in the romantic comedy "Whatever Works" (2009) with Larry David.
