Ten days are left before the arrival of the 21st century, and Argentina finds itself gripped by a social and economic crisis. In Buenos Aires, Mirta Bertotti, her husband Zacarías, and their three children are on the verge of joining the country’s growing indigent class. With her husband unemployed, three adolescent and stressed-out kids, and a drug-addicted father-in-law, Mirta’s world has become a nightmare, bringing her to use everyday humor and lots of creativity to turn the hard knocks into life lessons.
