Ivan Ivanov-Vano

Pioneering Soviet animator whose richly detailed cartoons earned him a reputation as the "Russian Walt Disney." Ivanov-Vano began his career with the State Film Technicum in the late 1920s and is best known for "The Mechanical Flea" (1964).
