Jesse Rath

Canadian actor Jesse Rath was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, to a mother of Goan Indian ancestry and a father with Austrian Jewish and British roots. Rath's first job as an actor came in 2005 when he was cast in a small role as a runner in "The Greatest Game Ever Played" (2005). Rath did three more feature length projects, "Prom Wars: Love is a Battlefield" (2008), "Dead Like Me: Life After Death" (2009), and "The Trotsky" (2009) before getting his first opportunity to appear on the small screen in the YouTube miniseries "Assasin's Creed: Lineage," in which Rath played the role of Federico Auditore. In 2010 Rath was cast in Canadian sci-fi series "Aaron Stone" (Disney XD 2009-2010). In 2011 he appeared in 20 episodes of the Canadian sitcom "18 to Life" (CBC 2010-11), which was cancelled after one season. In 2013 Rath began appearing on the American sci-fi Western series "Defiance" (SyFy 2013-15) as Alak Tarr. Between 2013 and 2015 Rath appeared in 24 episodes of the series. In 2014 Rath appeared on the Syfy network series "Being Human" (SyFy 2011-14) for a 4-episode arc in which he played the younger brother of the female lead played by his real life sister, actress Meaghan Rath. In 2016 Rath appeared in an episode of the medical drama "Code Black" (CBS, 2015-) before joining the cast of the romantic drama series "No Tomorrow" (CW 2016-).
