Adam Fierro

A TV writer and producer with a knack for working on action and crime shows, Adam Fierro began his career producing two scripts for the 2000 drama "Resurrection Blvd.," a Showtime series about the East L.A.-based Santiago family. Fierro went on to co-produce and write additional episodes of the show. In '04, Fierro served as a writer and producer on "The Shield," the successful FX crime thriller that starred Michael Chiklis as a wildly corrupt cop. Fierro worked his way up to supervising producer by the show's fifth season. He jumped over to Fox's huge hit "24" in '07, where he served as co-executive producer for the popular action-thriller about federal agent Jack Bauer and his battles against terrorism. Upon finishing his roles for "The Shield," Fierro became a consulting producer on a series that had a rather different interpretation of the rogue cop--Showtime's "Dexter," starring Michael C. Hall of "Six Feet Under" fame as a forensic expert who moonlights as a serial killer. Beginning in '09, Fierro finally got out of the police genre, landing a writer-producer gig on the hospital drama "Hawthorne," starring Jada Pinkett Smith as nursing director Christina Hawthorne.
