Arthur Walsh

Arthur Walsh was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1930, he appeared on Broadway in the chorus lines of "Sons of Fun" and "Hellzapoppin". Walsh's career beginnings included film roles in "Blonde Fever" (1944), the Robert Montgomery drama "They Were Expendable" (1945) and the Robert Walker comedy "What Next, Corporal Hargrove?" (1945). Walsh made film his next project, appearing in the Henry Fonda historical film "My Darling Clementine" (1946), "Sarge Goes to College" (1947) with Freddie Bartholomew and the comedy "You Gotta Stay Happy" (1949) with Joan Fontaine. He also appeared in "The Last Hurrah" (1958). Later in his career, Walsh acted in the Julia Roberts comedic drama "Mystic Pizza" (1988). Walsh passed away in September 1995 at the age of 72.
