After leaving his small town for Bombay, India, Bajrang (Mithun Chakraborty) finds himself getting sucked into the city's dark underbelly while simultaneously getting involved in a brutal love triangle. He falls for the lovely Bhavna (Rati Agnihotri), who is in love with Ravi (Shashi Kapoor), a federal agent with the Central Bureau of Investigation. Bajrang becomes a prominent crime lord, and his rivalry with Ravi grows when the latter is charged with bringing in Bajrang.
