The Abyss - Day Six and Seven

S1 E5: At the nuclear power plant, the operations team desperately try to avert disaster, but their actions have little effect. The thermometer is rising steadily – soon the core will begin to melt. Manzano tracks down his old friends: Clemens, now a lawyer, as well as Til and Katrin. Manzano finds himself back in the middle of the old group. They argue about Genoa, the revolution, betrayal. Emotions run high, and anger isn't far beneath the surface. Til is still deeply hurt by what he regards as Manzano's betrayal. But they certainly have nothing to do with the blackout. Rhees has news for Frauke: since the Chancellor has officially declined assistance from Russia, she is prepared for the worst.
