Monkie Kid, also known as MK, leads an ordinary life as a noodle delivery boy until destiny chooses him for a legendary quest against a powerful enemy who was subdued by Monkey King several hundred years ago.

When the behavior of the people around him seems perfect beyond imagination, MK struggles to make sense of it. He subsequently seeks guidance from Monkey King.
