Yumehara Nozomi's aimless middle school life is changed when she bumps into a handsome older boy on the street; when a villainous figure appears in pursuit, she transforms into Cure Dream to protect him!

To unlock the Dream Collet and grant Coco's wish, they need the power of five Precures. Nozomi thinks her best friend Rin is a perfect candidate for the second Cure, but Rin's not so sure...

A young actress at the school happens to witness Dream and Rouge's fight with Nightmare; Nozomi wants to bring her into the Precure gang, but first takes her on a tour around the school.

Nozomi feels sure that student council president Karen and library assistant Komachi are the ideal fourth and fifth Cures; while Karen rebuffs them, Komachi takes an unexpected interest in the story.

Karen continues to resist the girls' overtures about joining Precure, so they visit her at her home, which is revealed to be a huge mansion; when a Nightmare operative attacks, Karen has a choice to make.

Nozomi is undissuaded by Karen's seeming inability to become a Precure. Karen struggles to be honest with her true feelings about the matter.
