Arjun Gupta was an American actor best known for his recurring roles on "Nurse Jackie" (Showtime, 2009-2015) and "How to Get Away with Murder" (ABC, 2014-). Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Gupta always wanted to perform for others. This burning desire eventually led him to New York City, where he began auditioning for film and TV roles. He landed his first role on the TV pilot "Redemption Falls," in 2008, and followed that up with a guest spot on "Fringe" (Fox, 2008-2013) and a small role in the comedy-drama "Motherhood" (2009). Then in 2009, Gupta landed his breakout role on Showtime's dark comedy, "Nurse Jackie." Gupta played the role of Sam on three seasons of the show, and picked up a SAG Award, along with the rest of the cast, for his performance. After his time on "Nurse Jackie" ended, Gupta continued acting steadily, landing roles on the films "Stand Up Guys" (2012) and "HairBrained" (2013), as well as small part on Ben Stiller's scripted web-series "Next Time On Lonny" (2014). Gupta returned to TV in 2014 when he landed a recurring role on the acclaimed Shonda Rhimes drama "How to Get Away with Murder." Gupta appeared on five episodes of the series' first season. In 2015 Gupta nabbed a small part in the science-fiction horror film, "The Diabolical," which premiered in August of 2015.
