On June 24, Spain’s most international artist performed at Madrid’s Vicente Calderón Stadium with MÁS ES MÁS, the commemorative show that celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the launch of the biggest selling album of all time in Spain: ‘Más.’ Tickets for the event of the year sold out in half an hour, and thousands of fans were able to experience the tracks from the album ‘Más,’ alongside a career-spanning set list. On this special night, Alejandro Sanz invited a stellar cast of friends to perform several contemporary anthems including ‘Corazón partío,’ ‘Y si fuera ella,’ ‘Amiga mía’ and ‘Quisiera ser.’ Antonio Carmona, Antonio Orozco, Dani Martín, David Bisbal, India Martínez, Jesse & Joy, Juan Luis Guerra, Juanes, Laura Pausini, Malú, Manuel Carrasco, Miguel Bosé, Miguel Poveda, Niña Pastori, Pablo Alborán, Pablo López, Pastora Soler, Vanesa Martín and Vicente Amigo joined Sanz on the MÁS ES MÁS stage. Before performing ‘Siempre es de noche,’ Alejandro brought out Cristina Portas, a television show contestant who stunned the artist with a rendition of one of his songs in sign language. The children from the Coro Safari choir joined Sanz on stage for ‘La margarita dijo no’ and ‘Looking for Paradise.’ The stunning custom-built production featured a 300,000-watts light system, an 80,000-watt sound system, more than 27 trailers to assemble the stage over the course of 8 days, with over 1.400 people working on the event, 450 people in security and access controls, and a host of musicians including 2 full bands and 20 guest artists. This groundbreaking display brought to life Alejandro Sanz’s most ambitious tour to date.
