Moll Flanders
A tempestuous young orphan turns to prostitution. When she falls in love with an artist, she becomes the unwitting victim of class prejudice and melodramatic tragedy. Her story is narrated in flashback, as a servant from the brothel reads her memoirs to her young, illegitimate daughter.
