The film follows the life of Osip Mandelstam. In order to combine pieces of his tragic live into a complete mosaic the shootings took place in France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Armenia, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Samatikha, Voronezh, Tver, Cherdyn and Vladivostok. Beautiful puppets and specially designed decorations will help you to witness the live and death of the poet.
