Bill Lee brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Bill Lee worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "School Daze" (1988) and "She's Gotta Have It" with Tracy Camilla Johns (1986). In the eighties and the 2010s, Bill Lee's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Do the Right Thing" (1989) with Danny Aiello and the drama "Joe's Bed-Stuy Barbershop: We Cut Heads" (1989) with Monty Ross. Bill Lee's music was most recently featured in "Low Down" (2014). Bill Lee died on May 24, 2023 in Brooklyn, NY at the age of 94.
