Partners in Silence

S1 E2: As his promising career begins to take off, Guillermo Pérez Roldán becomes the target of media harassment. A new love interest adds pressure to Guillermo’s relationship with his father Raúl, who seeks to end it as he doesn’t want anything threatening his son’s concentration. The abuse and demands the 18-year-old Guillermo endures from his father drives him to try to take his own life with his grandfather’s gun, firing two unsuccessful shots. Finally, an almost 20-year-old Guillermo finds the courage to dismiss his father as his coach.
