Christian Serratos

A familiar face to teen audiences thanks to roles in "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" (Nickelodeon, 2004-07) and the "Twilight" franchise, actress Christian Serratos then made the leap into more adult-oriented fare when she was cast as zombie survivor Rosita Espinosa in comic book adaptation "The Walking Dead" (AMC, 2010-). Born in Pasadena, CA to a Mexican jewelry designer mother and Italian construction worker father, Serratos immersed herself in the world of entertainment from a young age, appearing as an extra on "The Drew Carey Show" (ABC, 1995-2004) and "Coach" (ABC, 1989-1997), competing as an ice skater and signing to Ford Models all before she had turned eight years old. Serratos landed her first notable role on middle school sitcom "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" (Nickelodeon, 2004-07) where she spent three seasons playing the titular character's dream girl, Suzie Crabgrass. One-off appearances in Jamie Lynn Spears vehicle "Zoey 101" (Nickelodeon, 2005-08) and Miley Cyrus phenomenon "Hannah Montana" (Disney Channel, 2006-2011) and a small role in Aly & AJ-starring TV movie "Cow Belles" (Disney Channel, 2006) then followed before Serratos made her big screen debut in the first installment of the hugely popular vampire saga, "Twilight" (2008). Serratos later reprised her role as Bella's best human friend, Angela Weber, in the sequels "New Moon" (2009), "Eclipse" (2010), "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" (2011) and "Breaking Dawn -Part 2" (2012) and added a guest spot in the pilot of Ryan Murphy's anthology "American Horror Story" (FX, 2011-), a nine-episode stint as Daniel's ex-girlfriend Raven in "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" (ABC Family, 2008-2013) and kidnap victim Lena in thriller "96 Minutes" (2011) to her filmography. Serratos then landed her first lead role when she starred as Roxie Santos, a talented teen who lends her voice to a tone-deaf "singer," in musical drama "Pop Star" (Lifetime, 2013) and played plane passenger Raquel Mendoza in supernatural horror "7500" (2014). But her true big break arrived when she joined the cast of "The Walking Dead" (AMC, 2010-) as Rosita Espinosa, the tough-talking but kind-hearted survivor who joins Rick's group in the fourth season of the hit zombie series. In 2019, Serratos was announced as the star of a bio series about Latin music superstar Selena.
