Harry Johnson

Harry Johnson worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "M*A*S*H" (CBS, 1972-1983). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "B.J. and the Bear" (NBC, 1978-79) and "Captain America" (CBS, 1978-79). He also landed a role in the miniseries "The Last Convertible" (1979-1980). He also starred in the TV movies "The Ultimate Imposter" (1978-79), "High Midnight" (CBS, 1979-1980) and "Farrell For the People" (NBC, 1982-83). He appeared in "Sins of the Past" (ABC, 1983-84). Some of Johnson's film roles are in the comedy "Real Genius" (1985) with Val Kilmer and the horror movie "Bad Dreams" (1988) with Jennifer Rubin. He went on to appear on the television special "King of the Building" (CBS, 1986-87), and the film "Warlock" (1991) with Richard E Grant. He starred in the TV movies "Sex and the Married Detective" (1988-89), "Seeds of Tragedy" (Fox, 1990-91) and "Death Dreams" (Lifetime, 1990-91). Johnson also lent his voice to various characters in the Jill Schoelen romance "Rich Girl" (1991). In the nineties, Johnson devoted his time to various credits, such as "Majority Rule" (Lifetime, 1992-93), "Another Midnight Run" and "Mallrats" (1995) starring Shannen Doherty. He also worked on "The Spitfire Grill" (1996). He also appeared in the drama "The Glass House" (2001) with Leelee Sobieski. He also was featured in the TV movies "Little Cobras: Operation Dalmation" (HBO, 1999-2000) and "Monkey Business" (Showtime, 2000-01). Johnson most recently acted on "Heartland" (TNT, 2006-07). Harry Johnson died on January 2, 2024 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 81.
