Mike Rutherford

Mike Rutherford worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Rutherford began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the Tony Maylam musical "Genesis - A Band in Concert" (1976), "The Shout" (1979) and the Rachel Ward drama "Against All Odds" (1984). His music also appeared in the Mikhail Baryshnikov drama "White Nights" (1985). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Genesis: Opening Night" (1991-92), "The Way We Walk, Part 1" (Fox, 1992-93) and "The Way We Walk, Part 2" (Fox, 1992-93). Rutherford also created music for the comedic sports movie "Rookie of the Year" (1993) with Thomas Ian Nicholas. Rutherford had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s through the 2010s, including "American Psycho" (2000) starring Christian Bale, the Adam Sandler and Kevin James box office smash "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" (2007) and "Genesis: When In Rome" (2008). His credits also expanded to "2012 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony" (NBC, 2011-12). Rutherford most recently appeared on "Genesis- Sum of the Parts" (Showtime, 2014).
