Rob Stewart

A Canadian born actor who specializes in action and adventure series, Rob Stewart is best known for playing Nick Slaughter, the lead role in "Sweating Bullets." A talented hockey player, Stewart had several athletic scholarships offered to him, which he had to turn down after sustaining an injury and losing a kidney. In the 1980s, he had small roles on several TV shows including a remake of the classic mystery series "Alfred Hitchcock Presents." In 1991, he landed the lead role in "Tropical Heat," a series about a former secret service agent who relocates to Florida to start a detective agency. Known in the U.S. as "Sweating Bullets," the series ran for three seasons. Stewart appeared in several TV series and films throughout the 90s and reprised his Nick Slaughter role in a film version of "Tropical Heat" called "Criss Cross." He continued to work in both the U.S. and Canada and returned to his native country for the adventure series "Amazon" a German-Canadian co-production that ran for 23 episodes from 1999 until 2000. In 2010, he began a recurring role as Roan on the sci-fi series "Nikita."
