Mike Lane

Mike Lane was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Lane began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Humphrey Bogart drama "The Harder They Fall" (1956), the Boris Karloff horror film "Frankenstein - 1970" (1958) and "Who Was That Lady?" (1960) with Tony Curtis. He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Way West" (1967) with Kirk Douglas, "Stay Away, Joe" (1968) and the crime picture "The New Centurions" (1972) with George C Scott. He also appeared in the TV movie "Gemini Man" (NBC, 1975-76). His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like the action movie "The Master Gunfighter" (1975) with Tom Laughlin, "The Zebra Force" (1976) and the Steve Sandor action film "Stryker" (1983). He also appeared in "Code Name: Zebra" (1987). He also appeared in the TV special "The Gypsy Warriors" (CBS, 1977-78). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Monster Squad" (NBC, 1976-77). During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "Teen Vamp" (1989) with Clu Gulager, the Linda Blair horror feature "Grotesque" (1990) and the horror movie "Demon Keeper" (1994) with Dirk Benedict. He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012) and "K.C. Undercover" (Disney, 2014-). Lane also contributed music to "Intimate Portrait: Sydney Seaward" (Lifetime, 1998-99). Lane most recently appeared in "The UCB Show" (2016-).
