A Family Feud

S1 E13: It's Dog's final days in Denver before he returns to Hawaii. Working for an old friend and local bondswoman, Mary Ellen, he and his team are hunting Chris, a fugitive wanted for a variety of drug charges. Chris's family has been making threatening and abusive calls to Mary Ellen and Dog, so tensions are running high. Out on the road Dog and his team relentlessly track Chris. Every house he might have visited, every bar where he's rumored to hang out, anyone he's ever done drugs with, Dog turns over every rock in Denver looking for the guy, all to no avail. In the end Mary Ellen decides to revoke the bonds she holds on Chris's mom and stepfather because she believes they are using drugs and probably harboring Chris. The bust is intense but Dog prevails and takes his quarry to jail. From the jail they go to Tim's son’s graduation; a happy family occasion in contrast to Chris's dysfunctional and violent family. A few weeks later, after a high-speed chase through three counties, Chris was arrested with his stepfather in the car.
