Assertiveness

S1 E3: Mattie and the rest of the housemates greet new Confident Guy Adrian but without much time to settle in Jodie introduces the pairs to Celebrity Comedian Mark Dolan who will hold this weeks Masterclass on Assertiveness. Drawing upon his experiences as a stand-up comedian, Mark teaches the shy guys how to say No' when they've previously said Yes' and to defend themselves and stand their ground in a confrontation. After a shaky morning, Jodie and Mark sit down with the Confident Guys and tell them they have to support their Shy Guys more and Mark sets a test to see how well the Shy Guys have listened to his advice, by analysing their assertiveness in role plays. The next day Jodie sets the Shy Guys the ultimate test of assertiveness and sends them to work on a lively London Market Stall selling fruit and veg. They must attract and serve customers and stand their ground against a difficult customer. This week's winners are Sol and Nick and they are rewarded with a fun day out horse riding.
