S2 E23: Charles is worried that Lillian's purchase of Sid's Pizza Parlor will leave her penniless due to the fact the restaurant is suffering financial trouble. He and Buddy take her last $900.00 and offer to launch an advertising campaign. They secretly plan to throw a 'Grand Opening Under New Management' party. Charles places an advertisement for the party which costs $200.00 and has a cashier's check made up for the remaining $700.00. Unfortunately, there is a mix-up and the check disappears. With no money for entertainment, decorations or amenities -- Charles is convinced the party is doomed.
