Dayira, "Candy Bride"

S2 E5: It takes a lot to shock wedding planner David Tutera, but bride Dayira Muniz is about to do just that. Three weeks before her big day, this sweets-loving bride has stocked up on candy accessories and edible decor for her candy-themed wedding. A bouquet made of lollypops, a red licorice archway and even candy centerpieces threaten to make this wedding a little too sweet. David sets out to preserve the spirit and color of this wedding, ditching Dayira's traditional dress for a sophisticated and sexy frock. He takes Dayira to renowned Cake Alchemy, where she learns about the latest wild - and colorful - trends in wedding cakes. Next, the two attend an afternoon dessert-tasting, where a pastry chef teaches them that desserts can be both fun and sophisticated. Finally, David informs Dayira that her wedding ceremony, cocktails and reception will all be held at the exclusive W Hotel in Union Square, New York. Dayira, it seems, will have a colorful, festive and sweet wedding night, after all.
