S1, E231: Caroline works with Valerie on the new fashion magazine. Brooke who is anxious to find out if Caroline has told Ridge about the letter arrives for a visit. A bitter Caroline retorts that she has not, yet, and accuses Brooke of betraying their friendship. Brooke turns the tables and openly wonders if Caroline is still in love with Ridge. Ridge notices his mother's sullen mood and offers to bring the family together to talk to Eric about the divorce, but Stephanie refuses. Eric picks Beth up at the hospital to bring her home. Stephanie decides to confront Eric about Beth's missing husband. When Conway receives a new lead that Stephen Logan might be in Salt Lake City he tries to call Stephanie, but only reaches house maid Maria.
