S2 E9: Eric is given the impossible task of negotiating the release of the teenage daughter of a prominent politician – a woman who has taken a public hardline on never paying kidnappers’ ransoms. Tensions rise as her chief of staff, Cynthia Walker, tries to exclude Eric from this ‘political’ negotiation. When Zara and Oliver look into a dark moment in the politician’s past, they uncover that this kidnapping may be more personal than political. Meanwhile, as Eric bumps heads with the strong-willed Cynthia, he discovers that he may have just found the newest member of the Cri-Res team.
