Like I Always Wanted

S1 E1: Best friends Kate and Michael travel from Los Angeles to Seattle for a book signing and Q&A for Michael’s first graphic novel. Their trip up north quickly goes south when Michael discovers Kate has been keeping a secret from him. Betrayed and angry, Michael ditches her for a stiff drink and a fast hook up at a local gay bar. On their return flight, a traumatic event helps the two friends reconcile their differences. They return to Los Angeles a little beat up, a little wiser, a little closer.
