S1 E12: When Gary (Anthony Anderson) learns of his father-in-law's (guest star Ernie Hudson) disdain for him, he is willing to do whatever it takes to earn his respect. Elsewhere, with Chris’ (Jesse Bradford) love life in a rut, he goes on a date with Shelia (Erinn Hayes), prompting a horrified Nick (Zach Cregger) and Emily (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) to try their hand at matchmaking. Unfortunately their goodwill quickly turns into a competition at Chris’ expense. Tempestt Bledsoe also stars.
