Maya and Pav are a New York couple throwing a California wedding. The affair will incorporate contemporary East meets West themes, as well as a modern South Beach flavor. To kick things off, a traditional Sangeet party will be held at the bride's parents' home in Beverly Hills, California. Different food stations will serve various types of Indian & Indian fusion food, while Bollywood singers and dancers are on hand to entertain guests! The ceremony will take place poolside before sunset, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Two gorgeous square pool floats will hold all-white floral and silver metal gazing balls. Asian Paper umbrellas will be provided for guests in shades of white and turquoise, and will contribute to the blue and white color scheme of this wedding. The cocktail hour will be held in a contemporary lounge decorated in shades of brown, white and blue, where guests will be treated to signature drinks that seem to smoke the wedding colors! Reception lighting will wash the ballroom in deep turquoise blue, while the walls will be completely draped in white satin fabric. The white dance floor, lit in soft turquoise blue, will create the impression of dancing on water. A five-minute professionally animated cartoon of the family will entertain the 300 guests. The meal will include six different appetizers and no less than twelve choices of Indian entrees!
