My Daddy's Little Girl

S3 E20: George shows up at Marys office announcing that hes left her mother again and asking if he can sleep on Marys Hide-A-Bed. Mary invites the aliens over for dinner, and Sally finds George charming; shes fascinated by his WW II stories when everyone else is falling asleep. Harry and Tommy stop by Pendletons eight- watt radio station, and Harry sits in for the disc jockey during a call-in show; he immediately becomes confrontational and abusive. George takes Sally to the Rutherford Air and Space Museum, and she loves it so much that she doesnt want to leave; Mary observes that Sally must be hooked on old war relics. Sally confesses to Dick that shes madly attracted to George; hes like the father she never had and she can also make out with him. Dick tells her to go for it. Mary cautions Sally to be gentle with her dad if he starts getting ideas. Officer Don stops by the radio station, and Harry asks him on the air how hed like it if Sally started dating an old dude like Marys father. Mary catches George and Sally in a clinch. Mary pleads with George to reconcile with her mother, while Officer Don accuses Sally of dating George for his money. George and Sally take Mary and Dick out to dinner, and Mary tells Dick shes mortified at her fathers behavior. Marys soon battling with Sally for Georges attention and over who gets to be called kitten, Nina and Harry get into a shouting match on the air. Sally tells George that it would be far too much trouble having Mary as their child and that maybe he should go back to his wife. Back at the apartment Tommy tells Harry what an insulting jerk he was, and the two start punching each other.
