S2, E1: Joe Maddalena, owner of the elite Hollywood memorabilia auction company, Profiles in History, is back to track down more lost relics and share his cinema passion with other enthusiasts. Also returning is Joe’s team of experts: Brian Chanes, Jon Mankuta, and Tracey McCall. Joe's got his eye on the most iconic item in movie history, one that has eluded him for years, The Ruby Slippers from The Wizard of Oz. But will a stubborn seller squash his dreams? Joe invites film star Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings, The Goonies) to visit the Profiles Loft to check out an original map from The Lord of the Rings. While there, Sean seeks Joe's help to restore the most iconic prop in sports film history: the golden football helmet from Rudy. Also, Tracey and Joe hit the road to visit mega collectors Chad and Doug Dreier, a father and son team whose collection spans 15 years and features amazing items from blockbusters like Terminator 2, Edward Scissorhands, and the original Superman. But when the Dreiers deliver shocking news, Joe must make a difficult decision or lose one of his top clients. Back at the loft, a potential seller brings two props from one of Jim Carrey's most recognizable characters, Batman's arch-nemesis, The Riddler.
