S2 E2: In saving the life of a beautiful psychiatrist (guest star Mariette Hartley) involved in hypnosis therapy, David Banner is able to enlist her aid in trying to save his. As their mutual dependence grows amid the splendors of the Hawaiian coastline, romance and love blossom. They marry, each knowing their life together is fraught with perils and certain heartbreak. When the island is swept by a typhoon at a crucial moment in the new couple's lives, their destiny rushes to a conclusion which neither of them can control, in part two of the season premiere.
