Skin Tight Ruby

S3 E7: Ruby has made huge strides with her weight loss, but seeing her excess skin is a daily reminder of her old self. When Denny invites her to come with him to Los Angeles, she sees it as the perfect opportunity to consult with a plastic surgeon about removing the excess flab. When she meets with Dr. Calvert, Ruby realizes that it would be a much more invasive surgery than she thought. Ruby isn't sure if she wants to go through with it, until she meets with a former patient who tells her how the surgery has changed her life. Meanwhile, Ruby and Denny visit their old neighborhood which stirs up both good and bad memories of their past together. During dinner, Denny angrily storms out when friends confront him about his unfaithfulness to Ruby during their relationship, and Ruby eventually realizes Denny will never be able to get past the physical.
