The Class Visits a Bad Neighborhood

S1 E12: As his relationship with Palmer (recurring guest star Jaime King) progresses, Ethan sends her a giant flower arrangement to show his affection. But after Palmer seems turned off by the gesture, Kat saves Ethan by reluctantly taking credit for the flowers. This prompts Palmer to confess that she has always had a crush on Kat--and Ethan imagines one of his biggest fantasies coming true. Meanwhile, Lina, Nicole and Duncan visit Richie's rough neighborhood to help him collect things from his apartment, and the group has an unfortunate encounter with Richie's estranged wife, Fern (recurring guest star Sara Gilbert).
