The Informant

S1 E17: Shu and the others arrive at a shop owned by Homeron, a man rumored to be a great informer, whom they wish to hire in their search for the woman who stole the Extra Seven document. However, an assistant working at the shop tells them that Homeron is dead. Now the group must search for another informer. Shu heads off by himself to face a dangerous monster whose defeat comes with a generous reward. He realizes that if he beats the monster, he can use the reward to hire an informer. The assistant tries to stop Shu, but he and Blue Dragon take on the beast, if only to prove to himself that if he can beat the monster, then he can beat Nene too. The assistant realizes that Shu is a legendary Shadow wielder. Shu beats the monster, but gets hurt in the process. He receives the reward, but decides to give it to some children he saw in the city who lost their parents in battle. Meanwhile, Zola and the others are still unable to find a capable informer. Homeron, who they were told was dead, is alive and pretended to be his own assistant the whole time. Drawn to Shu's noble character and good will, Homeron decides to once again choose the life of an informer. The group hires Homeron and they head toward some ruins that might be related to the Extra Seven. As they head there, they realize that Marumaro is gone.
