Honey, They Call Me the Space Cowboy

S1 E9: Wayne uses the revamped Szalinski Time Hopper (patent pending) to take the family back to 1864 for a picnic in early Matheson and to investigate a personal mystery. Despite their efforts at keeping a low-profile, the Szalinskis attract the attention of the Blacklung Gang, a quartet of ruthless desperadoes, and Ar'nox, an Intergalactic Ranger of the Sacred Order who just happens to be patrolling their sector of the cosmos. Before you can say tumbling tumbleweed, the cowboy criminals have hijacked Ar'nox's UFO and are using the alien's technology to rob banks and terrorize the local citizenry.
