S1 E9: Unfit to Print: When Kuzco is put in charge of the Academy News Scroll, he manipulates Malina into writing make-believe stories about himself, which threatens to ruin Malina's reputation as a trustworthy reporter. The Emperor's New Pet: When Kuzco has to take care of a pet kitten for a school assignment, Yzma turns his harmless kitty into a big scary jaguar, forcing Kuzco to take his jaguar to the woods and leave him there. But when Malina wants to have a play date with their kitties, Kuzco has to rescue the jaguar and try to pass him off as his homework.
