S2 E19: Though he and his friends have arranged an elaborate Pulp Fiction-themed birthday party for Abed (Danny Pudi), Jeff (Joel McHale) is the one who’s surprised when Abed insists on a grown up dinner at an expensive restaurant for just the two of them. However, as the rest of the study group is at a nearby diner waiting to surprise him, Abed reveals a dramatic surprise of his own.
