S15 E12: The morning after a boisterous party celebrating actress Mary Pickford’s departure for New York to make movies, the stage manager is found dead from an apparent fall. John Brackenreid says the deceased hurled drunken accusations at the theater owner and Mary’s mother. When the investigation yields a film frame of Miss Pickford in a compromising moment, the actress and her mother become suspects.
