S1 E1: Ever since her husband and hair legend Danny Gianfrancesco passed away more than ten years ago, Gayle and her daughter Christy have been running the family business at the Gatsby Salon. But now after a multi-million dollar renovation, Gayle is ready to step out of Danny's shadow and run the salon her way. She's ready to take the Gatsby to the next level--complete with a fresh new staff! After extensive interviews and auditions, the new team is formed, including established stylist Anthony, sweetheart hairdresser Gigi, top bridal make-up artist Alexa, ditzy-yet-lovable assistant makeup artist Olivia, and Olivia's rival, Tracy, an aggressive up-and-coming stylist who will do whatever it takes to push Olivia's buttons.
